Our shop can get busy and we often sell out early. If you know what you want then we recommend that you order on our online shop by 3pm for collection from one of our shops the following day (“click & collect”). Products can be ordered & paid online for collection from the shop the next day if the order is placed by 3pm (click & collect). E.g. order by 3pm today for collection tomorrow. If you order after 3pm today your order will be for collection the day after tomorrow.
If you are unable to pre-order on our online shop, please Call the shop on the day that you would like to collect. We recommend calling early (e.g. between 8am and 9am) so that we can put aside the items that you would like before they sell out. Please note, we are not able to take orders over the phone on busy days such as 23rd and 24th December.
If no one is available to answer the phone, please leave a voice message stating your name, order and contact telephone number, and we’ll pick up your message as soon as we can. If you require a large number of items (i.e. more than half a dozen loaves), or if you want to order burger buns, whole cakes, celebration cakes or special deli items, please give at least one week’s notice if possible.

Order Celebration Cakes
We are now taking orders for Christmas 2024 on our online shop! Due to high demand for our products at Christmas, we strongly recommend ordering in advance. Our capacity to make sourdough and baguettes in particular is limited due to constraints of time & space and we usually sell out in advance. Please order all cheeses and hampers by Saturday 10th December. Anything else for collection on Friday 23rd or Saturday 24th December must be ordered on our online shop by Saturday 17th December.

Christmas Orders
To avoid the queues, we recommend buying a week or more advance: cheeses purchased from 12th December onwards will be perfect for Christmas, and all of our baked goods including mince pies freeze well – simply defrost when needed and pop them into a hot oven for a few minutes for a just-baked effect.
If you have not pre-ordered on our online shop, please come early as our shop stock is likely to sell out quickly. Our shops usually open at 8am Monday to Saturday, however as we need to prepare a large number of orders we will open at 10am on 23rd and 24th December.
Our shops will be open until 4pm on 24th December, then closed until the New Year. Both shops will reopen at 8am on Monday 2nd January 2023.
This is a lovely bakery! I like it! It’s very close to my home and I am so happy that I have such a good place. Every morning I stop there to take a black coffee and something sweet for work…I love the bread too. My favorite is Holtwhites Multigrain, Five stars!!!!!
